Market rules
AbsoMarket is a place where members of the Absolute community lend each other things for their activities, swap them and give them as gifts. The market is not a seller, not a rental service and not a party to any agreement between members.
Every thing is tied to an activity from the AbsoLive taxonomy. Things outside activities, banned things and dangerous things are not published (see the “Never” list on the rules page).
Hand-overs involve no mandatory payments. Documents are not accepted as a deposit. A cash deposit — only if the members agree to it between themselves, and outside the site.
Complaints and blocks are shared with AbsoLive. Fraud or a dangerous thing means leaving the community.

The “from hand to hand” checklist
Before you meet: agree on the place (a center or the neighborhood), the term, and what to do if something breaks.
At the hand-over: four photos of the thing, a look-over together, a short walkthrough of how to use it. Known flaws — said out loud and written on the card.
At the return: the same four photos, a look-over, a “thank you” on the thing’s card. A breakage — name it right away.

Receipt: a thing on loan
A template for two: what the thing is, its condition and known flaws, the return date, the rules of use, what to do if it breaks. Free of charge, with no documents as a deposit.
For the lawyer: does such a receipt relieve the owner of liability to third parties (Russia’s Civil Code, art. 697), and when is a written form required?

Receipt: a cash deposit
A template for when two people agree on a deposit for a valuable thing: the amount and when it is returned. The money stays between the people; the site neither sees nor holds it.

Center library rules
Taking a thing into the library for the season: thresholds (age, condition, completeness); the master records the condition and the flaws; the owner’s name stays on the thing.
Handed out for an activity, returned at the next one. Fair wear and tear isn’t paid for. The center’s agreement form — to fill in: after the lawyer’s answer.

Standards for masters and partners
Makers’ shelf: a thing of the master’s own making, materials named, the master holds a legal status for selling. Partners: terms for members, no paid placement or advertising, identical cards, Absolute’s right to withdraw its name.

What AbsoMarket knows about a visitor: almost nothing. No accounts, cookies, analytics or external resources; the server sees only the address of each request.
