Demo without sign-in
Things and people are examples. Drafts, saved things and kit marks — only in this browser. Sign-up on AbsoLive is closed right now — so the market requires nothing yet.
For Absolute members
Today the Absolute account is the AbsoLive account. The market has no sign-up of its own and knows about a person only what it needs to pass a thing on.

Sign-in goes through AbsoLive, under the group’s single-account plan. The market needs only the “member” mark and an alias; a name on the card — only with separate consent. Requests to an owner go through AbsoLive messages; the market has no messaging of its own.
Centers take things in for the season and hand them out for an activity — under library rules that a lawyer will review. Money, if it ever appears — only through the operator, with receipts.
A center is not a warehouse but a meeting point: a thing will be handed out for an activity and taken back at the next one.
Winter — skis, snowboards, goggles; summer — hiking. A market day before the season: things are taken in with a master’s check.
The sea — SUP boards, swim masks, foam vests. The things of those who leave stay for those who arrive.
Once a season, the center holds a market day: people bring things, masters look them over, people swap and agree on hand-overs. Not a feed but a meeting at an appointed hour — as in the first meaning of the word “market”.
The thing, the activity, the master and the repair — in neighboring projects. The market links to them and doesn’t duplicate them.
Activities, masters and messages. Every thing leads to its activity’s page and to the map.
OpenRepair and maintenance: edge sharpening, binding setup, tent repair — these are masters’ services, not things.
OpenThings that come with a home for guests are part of the housing listing. The market doesn’t link a thing to its owner’s home.
OpenThe community’s clothing and things with its symbols. On the market — only gear you wear for an activity: a shell, a wetsuit, climbing shoes.
